Bereaved relatives will sometimes need advice as to the procedures to be followed after the death of a family member. This is inevitably a difficult time and many find that the administration and paperwork causes additional stress. We assess every situation individually and advise as to whether it will be sensible to involve solicitors in the process and to what extent, with regard to the costs that may be incurred. If we do not think solicitors need be involved (e.g. because of limited assets in the estate) then we say so and advise as to the steps that should be taken instead.
