Our principal solicitor is a member of the Family Law Accreditation Scheme in this area of law. We consider it to be particularly important to clients experiencing matrimonial, or other related family problems, that the lawyer they consult is approachable and supportive during what is always a difficult time.
We find that clients are often worried about the legal costs involved in resolving problems arising out of the breakdown of a relationship and most like to be able to budget for those costs. We have accordingly put into place arrangements whereby many of our clients either spread their costs over a 10 or 12 month period, or even delay payment of the bulk of their costs until the end of the matter. We also now offer visa/debit card facilities.
Where there are financial or other matters to be resolved, we always endeavour to find the most economical way of resolving these issues and will advise referral to court only when absolutely necessary.
Many of out clients have found that their income is such that they do not qualify for Legal Help or Legal Aid. To assist our clients in this position, who have a gross income and savings of under a fixed amount per annum, we have introduced a special family rate.
